Beautiful. And thank you. Don't notice me. Please notice me. Don't look at me. Please look at me. Yep.

I love that this is your 100th post here. How appropriate that it's a post about your opportunity to teach the younger generation and, in turn, appreciation and joy (for you and them) in that experience.

So far my homeschooled son does not have an appreciation for poetry but perhaps with a teacher like you there is hope. 🤔

I adore what you prayed over them. I'm going to copy you in this prayer over my own children, their friends, and those I teach at BSF.

Oh, Shemaiah........this brought tears to my eyes. You are the perfect person to teach poetry to teenagers.

May God continue to widen the reach of your words.

Sounds like such a wonderful experience--for you and the teens. And I lol-ed at "mewing!" I love your outlook. Teens really do have interesting viewpoints and ideas, if we listen. Sure, you have to get past the fashion choices and habits that in our day were "disrespectful" maybe. But every generation complains about those pesky kids! When we see past the surfacey stuff to the actual person we grownups are rewarded greatly. Also, that's one wonderfully joyful book list!
