Two to five times a week, I schedule a walk with a friend or family member.

Each week, I send out a text with my windows of availability between work and driving teenage boys and making dinner and see if those windows line up with my friends and neighbors windows.

It started during that time which will not be named—-when we weren’t allowed inside each other’s homes. Everyone had a different level of comfortability, but it was clear, we needed to be with each other.
